Meet the coaches

Owned by Kyle Letheren, Who is a  Ex-Professional Goalkeeper and Wales u21  International and First Team squad member with over 20 years of playing and coaching experience. Kyle signed for Swansea City before moving to signed professional for Barnsley FC and then going on to play for teams like kilmarnock FC and Dundee FC in the Scottish Premiership before moving back to England playing for BlackpoolFC,Plymouth Argyle FC ,Chesterfield FC, Salford FC and Morecambe FC 

 

Since retiring from playing Kyle has established himself in a number of Goalkeeper Coaching roles as Barnsley FC Head Of Academy Goalkeeping, 1st team Player coach at Hartlepool United FC and is Currently Head of Goalkeeping at Doncaster Rovers FC  

 

Kyles dad Glan Letheren was also a Ex Goalkeeper Leeds United and Swansea city FC and Goalkeeper coach for Swansea city FC  and Leicester City FC 

 

Glan was founder of Topcatch Goalkeeping back in 2001 since then Glan has sadly passed away but his son Kyle has taken on Topcatch Goalkeeping just liked his father would have wanted 

 

COACHING 

 

Kyle has now established himself and Topcatch Goalkeeping in 2021 Kyle has now coached 100s of young Goalkeepers in the Yorkshire Region Establishing Topcatch as one of the most successful Goalkeeping Centre in the Area 

 

Kyle holds his UEFA A Goalkeeping Qualification

And UEFA B Outfield License 

 

STUDENTS 

 

Topcatch and Kyle have had over 30 students join professional academies . Topcatch are proud that we are able to provide a service to help propel Grass roots Goalkeepers to the next level
